85.6km task of with 2/3 of flat lands !!!
First the start on the take off: today all the pilots flew well together, no risk of colision. Later in the task it was different because after the turnpoint B35 (at the end of the ridge), we went in flat lands for a long time. At the beginning we fly high in the flat, some pilots were in front of the group to find other thermals and after a few kilometers, it was weak conditions, all the first group go back, very low, and it's Cortella Denis, who found the thermals.
After this low part of the flight, the group tried to stay high and all went much better. For the last two turnpoints, we took altitude and we could finish the race directly with just a few stop, just to be sure to make goal.
The winner is an australian pilot, Shane Hill, and I'm 12th just 2 sec behind Christian Maurer !!!
