A 53.7km race is starting at 14:00, but the weak conditions brings most pilots down to the ground shortly after the start opening. A few pilots manage to fly further and Karel Vrbensky reaches 35.7 km. He is the only one to fly above the validation distance so the task is scored on only 100 points and will not be used in the World Cup rankings.
Shinishi Nagashima is second and Torsten Siegel is third.
